Rules and support

Play together, without paying

Choose or create a camp, read its cause and confirm your choice. Your camp is locked until the current game week ends. Daily roll call is free and counts each player once per day. A camp’s weekly goal is 5 different members participating; success earns a permanent community honour. Checking in does not create money. A labelled sponsor campaign can unlock only its separately funded budget.

The map and the weekly reset

Europe is divided into hexagons. An empty hex costs €3. Capturing an occupied hex costs its current price plus the greater of €1 and 25% of that price. The Crown uses 5% instead. With at least 3 friendly neighbours, the raise is multiplied by 1.5. Above €150, an eligible hex splits into seven smaller ones, up to 2 levels. Capitals and the Crown do not split.

The map resets every Sunday at 20:00 Europe/Helsinki. A new week begins; the old week’s history, honours, inscriptions and season records remain. The curse is fictional and is not an explanation of real history or a reference to any group of people.

Understand an order before you pay

The displayed price is a quote. Reviewing it creates a 5-minute price lock, which does not reserve the hex. Ownership changes only after verified payment. If a credit capture cannot complete, your balance is not debited. If a card payment succeeds after the price or week has changed, its value is credited to your account instead of disappearing. Do not submit a second payment because confirmation is delayed.

Optional products

Purchased credit comes in €10 / €25 / €50 packs and has no normal expiry while the service operates. It cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another player. A deposit to the camp treasury belongs to the camp and can be spent by the founder or designated officers. Reward credit is distinct: it expires at the next weekly reset and does not create another donation allocation.

The €9.90 season pass lasts until the end of the current 4-week season, including only its remaining weeks. The exact expiry appears before purchase. It provides a coat of arms, HD replay export and a season record, with no gameplay advantage or automatic renewal. Permanent inscriptions have location-dependent prices, are moderated before charging and preserve replaced text in their history.

Community impact

From week 2, 8% of eligible real-money spending is allocated to the cause chosen at spending time and 2% to a competition bonus. Its split is 70 / 20 / 10. Earlier weeks retain their recorded rules. Top-ups, internal transfers, reward credit and bots do not create additional allocations. Missing recipients and ranks stay reserved. Refunds are traceable and do not erase completed donations. The operator funds the donation share of refunded spending.

These are the operator’s allocations from service revenue. A purchase is not a direct donation by the player. See recipients, status and receipts. An unverified draft is not a partnership claim.

Automated actions

Standing orders and an authorised agent can use only prepaid credit or a permitted camp treasury, never a card. The player sets a per-capture cap and weekly budget and can revoke access. Orders stop when the week ends. An agent’s action within your authorised limits is your action; keep its token private.

Terms of service · 0.11-luonnos

Draft for review. Paid launch requires completed operator details, reviewed terms, verified recipients and payment-provider approval.

Provider, eligibility and delivery

The provider is JJLA Digital Solutions (2793066-2), Seponkatu 10 A, 15140 Lahti. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or over using their own funds. A browser session identifies an account. Verify an email before a real purchase so that loss of a browser does not strand the balance. Email verification does not merge different accounts.

The product is a digital entertainment service: temporary visibility, internal game credit or the described cosmetic features. Players receive no cash prizes or transferable winnings. Prices are displayed in euros (EUR), including applicable tax. Every purchase is a one-off payment; there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Card details are entered on Stripe’s PCI DSS compliant payment page; UNHEX never sees or stores them.

Delivery, cancellation and refunds

Everything sold is digital; nothing is shipped. A product is delivered in the service as soon as the payment is verified: a capture appears on the map, credit in your balance, an inscription on its hex and pass features on your account. Before purchase, the player requests immediate delivery. That request does not remove mandatory rights concerning an incorrect or undelivered service.

We refund to the original payment method when a payment was charged but the purchase was not recorded and cannot be fixed; when the same purchase was charged twice; when you ask, within 14 days of purchase, for unused purchased credit to be refunded (only the unused part; credit deposited to a camp treasury counts as used); and when the service closes or the buyer was a minor. Visibility already delivered, spent credit, reward credit and delivered pass features are refunded only if the service was faulty.

To ask, email support with the receipt reference, time and nickname. Never send card details or a password. We answer within 14 days. An approved refund is made through Stripe to the original payment method and usually appears within 5–10 banking days. There is nothing recurring to cancel; standing orders and agents can be stopped at any time.

User content, moderation and misuse

You must have the right to publish your nickname, camp text, messages and inscriptions. You grant the non-exclusive right to store and display them in the service and its shared game records. Public history is intended to remain; identifying nicknames can be anonymised on request. Threats, group-directed abuse, harassment, personal information, sexual content, scams and unauthorised advertising are prohibited. Moderation may reject a message without preventing a capture.

Report inappropriate content using its report action or support. A moderation decision can be appealed through support within six months. Repeated abuse, manipulation, bypassing prices or limits, or operating multiple accounts to accumulate benefits may lead to restrictions or closure. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.

Changes, availability and closure

Outages and maintenance are possible. Material changes to the service rules and terms are announced at least 14 days in advance. A player who does not accept a material change can stop using the service and request review of unused purchased credit before it takes effect.

If the service closes, the operator gives at least 60 days’ notice and stops selling new credit. Unused purchased credit is reviewed for reimbursement following closure; requests should be made within three months. Reward credit has no cash redemption value. Liability is determined by applicable mandatory law; these terms do not limit statutory consumer protections.

Disputes and contact

Finnish law applies subject to mandatory consumer protections. Contact support first. Finnish consumers can contact Consumer Advisory Services and the Consumer Disputes Board; cross-border assistance is available from the European Consumer Centre. The consumer’s right to seek a court remedy remains.

Privacy · 0.11-luonnos

The provider named above is the controller. An essential signed session cookie associates your browser with your account. We process your chosen nickname, camp, actions, balances, payment references, optional verified email and optional push subscription to deliver the service, prevent abuse and meet accounting obligations. Card details remain with Stripe.

Server-recorded join and roll-call times and activity days support 90-day cohort reports. Reports use aggregate cohorts and campaign labels; raw invitation codes are not sent to analytics. Browser interaction events are observations, not proof of payment. Financial records and public week history have separate retention purposes. Recovery tokens are stored as hashes, expire after 20 minutes and work once.

Optional email and push notifications require a separate choice and can be turned off. Processors are Hostinger (server, Lithuania), Stripe (payments; also an independent controller for payment and fraud-prevention data), Resend (email), the browser’s push service, Anthropic (moderation, USA) and Plausible (cookieless analytics, EU). Actual processor terms, transfer safeguards, legal bases and accounting retention must be confirmed for the paid launch. The service does not sell personal data or use cause choices for advertising profiles.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing through support. Financial records required for accounting and the integrity of public history are handled separately from personal identifiers. Complaints can be submitted to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman. Operational retention and deletion are described in the provider’s reviewed policy before commercial release.
